Plain-English summary: AgentVest publishes trading signals and runs a transparent public model account. Signals are information, not investment advice. The service is free today and paper-trading by default. If you connect a brokerage account or act on a signal through your own AI agent, you make and own every trade. No guarantees, no warranties, and you can stop using it any time.
Acceptance of these terms
By accessing agentvest.ai, app.agentvest.ai, the AgentVest MCP server, or any AgentVest alert channel (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to the Disclaimer & Legal Notice, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
An informational signal service
AgentVest operates automated scanning strategies and publishes the resulting trading signals, market commentary, and a public model-account track record. The Service is informational and educational. It is not investment, financial, legal, or tax advice; not a recommendation tailored to you; not brokerage, custody, or order-execution services; and not portfolio management. AgentVest and its operators are not registered as an investment adviser, broker-dealer, or commodity trading advisor with the SEC, CFTC, FINRA, NFA, or any state authority. No advisory, fiduciary, or client relationship is created by your use of the Service.
Self-directed accounts and BYO agents
Some features let you connect a brokerage account (e.g. Alpaca) or consume signals from your own AI agent (e.g. via the MCP server alongside your own broker integration). In every configuration, you are solely responsible for each order placed in your account — including orders placed by software or agents you configured. You decide whether to act on any signal. Paper trading is the default; live trading, where available, requires your explicit opt-in and acceptance of additional risk disclosures.
Market risk disclosure
Trading stocks, options, and futures involves substantial risk of loss, including the loss of your entire investment. Past performance — whether live, simulated, paper-traded, or backtested — is not indicative of future results. Hypothetical and simulated results have inherent limitations and do not represent actual trading. You should only trade with capital you can afford to lose, and consult a licensed financial professional before making investment decisions.
Your account and credentials
- You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in method secure.
- Broker API keys you submit are encrypted at rest and used only to operate the features you enabled.
- You may disconnect your broker or request account deletion at any time via hello@agentvest.ai.
- We may suspend or terminate access that abuses the Service, attempts to extract the underlying strategy engine, or violates these terms or applicable law.
Fees
The Service is currently free. If paid tiers launch, pricing and billing terms will be shown at the point of purchase and these terms will be updated. Brokerage commissions, market-data fees, and taxes are always between you and your own providers.
Intellectual property
The Service — including strategies, scoring, software, branding, and content — is owned by AgentVest. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own, non-commercial use. You may not resell, redistribute, scrape, or republish signals or data feeds, or reverse-engineer the strategy engine.
Third-party services
The Service interoperates with third parties we do not control — including Alpaca, Robinhood, Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, Google, Telegram, and X. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. AgentVest is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SIGNALS MAY BE DELAYED, INCOMPLETE, INTERRUPTED, OR WRONG. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AGENTVEST AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY TRADING LOSSES, LOST PROFITS, OR LOST DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) US $100.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflicts of law. Any dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, and you waive any right to participate in a class action, except where such waiver is prohibited by law. Small-claims court remains available for qualifying claims.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. The current version always lives at this URL.
